"Renaissance Faire With A Pirate Flair"

September 23th & 24th, 2006

Faire hours are: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM both days.
Admission: Adults $14.00, Children under 12 $7.00
Seniors $12.00
Parking $3.00, Adult weekend pass $22, Children weekend pass $10.
Group rates available. Admission includes all entertainment and plays. Seating is limited on hay bales.

The event is handicap accessible. Handicap parking is available and directed through the main parking lot to the area with the venue site.
Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in the event, however, visitors may bring food and soft drinks. All backpacks and coolers are subject to search. The gate keeper is good natured but don't let looks be deceiving.
To add to the Faire experience, visitors are encouraged to come in a Pirate period costume. There will be costume contests both days, prizes will be awarded in all contests. Categories will be: Kids 1-8, 8-12(all entrants will recieve a prize)

We're signed up in the Tribal Group competition. This is one of Elizabeth's bright ideas! Come out and have fun with us and cheer us on! We are just doing this for fun you know! Belly Dance is supposed to be FUN!

She'enedra has been invited to perform at the International Press Junket in Las Vegas to help promote The International Belly Dancing Convention. The IBDC promises to be a monumental event in belly dance history. This seven-day event Starting on July 30, 2007 will be held at the brand-new South Point Casino Resort, located on the world-famous Las Vegas Boulevard, which will provide the IBDC with nearly 200,000 square feet of venue space for an assortment of workshops and various activities and includes an 8,000 seat arena.
Our beautiful Ayse will be teaching workshops at the IBDC in July.

"Since Katrina incidents of domestic violence have been on the rise in our area. This is not uncommon within scenarios of post traumatic stress disorder and with the vast number of people affected here, often most horribly the poor and the less supported, it has brought out the worst. We also have less money with which to respond. This means that women and children are at higher risk than ever before. "
